A winning bidder has paid $120,000 to catch a pass from Tom Brady. The auction allows a fan to catch a pass, have pic taken and have Tom sign pic. Comes with private jet travel to Florida, one night stay at Ritz and Bucs-Giants tickets.

Oy’ where’s Stefan Lefors

Im beyond confused with how people spend their money, that hit HARD ten years ago with twitch. Made people sitting on their arse playing/reacting to a game millionaires??? Im 100% done with trying to figure it out.

I worked FAARRR too hard for my money to give it as a simp or lonely loser. This 120K fooseball catch is no different, but Im not in the business of telling folks who to spend money.

    • Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.
    • This will also be prime Training Camp meltdown time on here lol. Preseason game 1 August 8th, i'm guessing camp starts around July 25-27th
