Grier will likely be cut with the last group

I can't see how they justify keeping Grier around at this point. They will need him for the third preseason game, and PERHAPS put him on the practice squad to run the scout team. Other than that, I think PJ showed today he is light years ahead of Grier.

Grier is sofa king bad. The only reason he will make it that far is the need for another camp arm.

Which is still not good we need a backup terribly. We have no backup on this roster sorry but it’s the truth

I mean they are better off using an undrafted rookie at this point. Didn’t we have the Northwestern QB throwing some passes for us. Peyton Ramsey? Why not use him?

I mean I’m not the guys biggest fan but most of his throws were on the money today. 
 

But they clearly lack the confidence in him to air it out. He has a live arm though. Hope he gets a legitimate last chance this preseason and let fate play out.

I thought PJ did a very good job moving the chains today. He wasn't spectacular but he was solid and got the boy to his playmakers.

I'm fine with how PJ played today. Not perfect, but miles ahead of Grier.

At this point cut him and bring in someone else. It's not like he's going to get better and I'd rather see someone like Bortles as a backup if the contract is right. I'd like some actual competition at the backup position

Ramsey didn't even make it past rookie Mini-Camp. He's worse than Grier.
