they aren't running a normal offense, and they didn't scheme. you can't translate any of it to a regular game.

True. It's just interesting to me the panthers always seem to play this way no matter who the coach, owner, or players are. The playing down to opponents is well documented by this franchise. just weird and interesting to me.

The certain group of Grier haters have just been waiting this whole time to mess up so they can blow this place up.  Especially the ones that overreacted so much to PJ last week.  Grier isnt good either but the fact that hes played this long wne all they can complain about is him taking a sack on a totally missed block speaks for itself.

    • Yep, they definitely follow another strategy he talked about before we even brought him in which is dont give up picks to trade for players, he said do pick swaps instead.  He said the only time you give up picks instead of swapping is if its for a qb.
    • McVeigh did not look or sound happy after he was drafted. The way he talked, it was a GM decision he was told about after and he tried to sound excited but he couldn't fake it that well.
    • He is their first opportunity to find a successor to Stafford. There will be more opportunities next year and in the future until they find their guy. They just started a year early. And no, I do not think he will be their starter in the future. He will take time more time to develop than McVay has to win another SB. I hope we follow their lead in next year's draft and start stacking up 1st round qb's until 1 hits.
