Well, overall basically what I expected. Fairly comfortable but uninspiring win. Defense was dominant most of the day, but Zach Wilson is a talent. The offense was basically all #22. That's not sustainable. Hopefully it was just part of easing Darnold in and getting him comfortable because that type of workload is gonna put CMC back on IR again.

For the record, you’re quoting the word STUPID, but I never said that.
I just said we need correct some mistakes.

Yup, I was forcing the word "stupid" vs generic mistakes.  12 men on the field? That's a stupid mistake that's easily avoidable.

Getting pulled offsides on a hard count? Same.

Yeah, it is a 17 game season now, so that has never been more true. CMC does not need to take that many hits. We drafted a RB in the 4th round, I didn't see him in often.

Wilson looked very good early on until the INT, then he struggled for a bit, but bounced back. We were in his face all game long and he made very limited mistakes. There was one play where he avoided like three sacks in the same play. They have something to be excited about.

You aren't going to get through to some of these ppl. They thought 5 wins in 2019 was a reason to rejoice bc we gave McCaffrey the most touches of any rb in the league.

Apparently you two have no concept of the word "talent," which often dictates who gets the ball in important situations. You see, the goal of a football game is to win, which is achieved primarily through using a team's best players when the situations arise.

"Winning" can be achieved by using multiple RBs, which I'd suggest in not giving CMC 30 touches every week, but resting a player on an important down because "the whole team duh" is a better option, is dumb as hell

Football is a team sport if you keep feeding it to McCaffrey the whole game you may lose the game teams will figure you out. We need more passing and play action mix it up. Your the one that is dumb as hell.

    • I wish I could gaslight myself into believing the same, but Eric Eager wasn't even mentioned until two posts before mine here on page five after the initial pivot to complain about Bryce on page one. Considering the views some of those involved have shared regarding PFF + Dan's involvement on Fitterer's team and... well... Regardless of all of that, Nic Scourton looked really good against the Dolphins. He was setting the edge well and even looked decent in coverage when required to drop back. He was destroying the right side of the Dolphins' OL and even got the best of the LT on several occasions. Seeing what Nic's doing on the field is likely what Evero was hoping DJJ could develop into when they took him. The team also isn't using him as much on special teams (hasn't logged a punt team snap since week 2 but is still part of the FG blocking unit). Completely different players and playstyles, but Scourton's motor and ability to remain constant while opposing OL start to gas out in the late game reminds me a lot of Charles Johnson.
    • I say he's a run of the mill starter. You say he has had a decent career. We're saying the same thing. I never had any issues with Shaq. My issues were with the Panthers in that one, we drafted a player in the 1st round at a position of our greatest strength when there were options available that would've provided us with more initial help. You make a move like that because you think a guy is special, that he's by far and away the best talent available. Two, after he had proven to be good but not great (basically a run of the mill starter) on the field, we turn around and pay him like he's a future HOFer. These aren't issues with Shaq. They're issues with the organization.
    • 😆If you're not elite or a potential HOFER, then LG calls you "run-of-the-mill" or "meh." Shaq has had a decent career---better than many longtime starters, but not everyone is built to be worthy of the Hall Of Fame.
