After rewatching there’s about 3 throws he just sailed. 1 was in the end zone the other 2 would have been chunk plays. Clean that up and today everybody would be talking about our new franchise QB. Sam seems to be a slow starter so hopefully as he gets comfortable there’s less of missing wide open guys. All in all I give him a B+

Wasnt too impressed with Sam. CMC will make any QB look amazing. But have to expect that with him being on a new team with 2 quarters of experience with them. He will develop over the year. The pass to Robby was a dime though. Definitely has the talent just needs the XP.

I don't think there is much to rewire except protection and better players. I mean Sam was getting Drilled by DEs for two years. Not much you can do when you get hit and the WRs drop your ball.

I saw a lot I was encouraged by, and excited about moving forward.  That 2nd qtr, he looked like a 3rd overall pick/franchise QB.  But, ngl, all the hype I felt from that, it quickly subsided in the 2nd half, and honestly, the 2nd half left a sour taste in my mouth overall.  I'm hoping he just feels more confident about what he did right early, and carries that forward and builds on it.  But, that 2nd half was hard to watch...  I know it wasn't all on Sam bc Brady's playcalling went to poo too, but that was rough.

While I was disappointed in second half performance for the offense, I really loved how well Sam Protected the Ball with 0 Interceptions. 

With Lattimore out next week, I expect a performance increase from Sam and Offense against the Saint.

Don't know if anyone watched his press conference, but I was impressed with his mindset about the game and the way he handles the media.

He didn't dwell on this victory and focused on reviewing the tape and fixing the mistakes

He looked better than a rookie.  Made a few protection calls and audibles at the line.  He handled the pressure with poise.
