With the miss today and hitting the goalpost in preseason, I'm done with this experiment.  I dont understand why we didn't cut him when the Ravens let Verity go, because we actually gain an asset back for letting him go...  and the fact we didn't attempt a 50 yarder just adds to my issue with him.  With his seemingly inconsistent accuracy, and he can't even attempt a 50 yarder, we need to try Verity out.  Bigger leg and seemed really accurate in preseason, and we save a draft pick.

I had no problem moving on from him but as I said at the time….we downgraded.  That’s on Rhule.   This guy isn’t a NFL kicker.
