I think we all can agree to that. We just need him to be competent until we get our guy, hopefully in the next year or 2.

Slater gained traction going into the draft for how he handled Chase Young in college.

not to get all college conference pride but I swear the big 10 produces better lineman than the SEC.

Nah Slater was my 1b to Horn. Was surprised we went Horn I thought for SURE we were gonna go Slater. Slater is damn good. Technique like no other. This isn't a surprise with him, this was expected.

He just has Youngs number. He stonewalled him in college too but got beat by lesser dudes.
