We've been getting VERY fortunate with the injury/COVID bug early on this season.

Absolutely.  Our whole schedule early on is shaping up to be quite manageable.

But everyone should look at the 4 games we end with...

We are going to need every bit of luck and staying healthy to put us in a position for those games, and hopefully we are still in the hunt.

I look at it as basically the playoffs starting 4 weeks early, b/c those games are really going to show where this team is at the end of the year relative to 3 of the very best.

If we can compete in those games, it will prove this time is on our way to being a true contender.

Texans ruled out Danny Amendola (hamstring), Deshaun Watson (non-injury reasons), Terrance Mitchell (concussion). Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) questionable. Justin Reid (sprained knee) is questionable and not expected to play against the Panthers, according to a league source

This is on top of Tyrod being out... absolutely no excuses not to show out in this game

Under past regimes I'd be worried about this looking like a prime trap game.  But not with this group and the current leadership.  We whip the ass that's put in front of us then move on to the next.  No one cries when we limp into a game under-manned, neither should we.  Fug em, LFG!

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
