Chubba Hubbard... Boom or Bust?

Chubba is 3 games in to a rookie year still getting adjusted to speed of it all.   Behind a OL that doesn’t open holes.  

I got no worries about him.   It really doesn’t help that eye test goes from watching CMC’s magic…to then Chubba.   It’s a built in unfair disadvantage. 

But he needs some work on the juggs machine.  I think his feet will stay under him with more reps and getting comfortable.

He wasn't that bad either. He did some solid work and was a good compliment to CMC.

Very well said. It can take some snaps for it to slow down for guys.

Calling guys busts 3 games into the season is insane.

I'm less concerned about his rushing ability he has the speed and moves but he's going to take some lumps as a rookie acclimating to the NFL. He has got to haul in passes that hit him in the hands though.

Need to run a zone blocking scheme for Chuba...if he has a hole and can hit it he has good speed.

Not much of a pass catching threat so as Mr. Scot has said he needs major improvement there.

Ran well in the second half. Looked a lot more promising than I'd thought previously. Too early to tell, but if CMC is out we will get to see.

He was good for a few games but got worse as the season went on.

By the later part of the season, we were runningback by committee.

It can be Chu Chu Kazoo for all I care. As long as he plays like he did in the second half going forward I'll support him. My favorite thing about him yea he had a slow start and he took some hits, but he protected the ball and didn't fumble once.
