I wouldn't say bad as much as inconsistent...................at times thing clicked (heck the scored 24 points) but just not consistent as a good power run block oline looks like........

and the funny thing is lines love to run block over pass blocking for obvious reasons but the Panther oline seems to do better at pass blocking than run blocking.......

That was teh worst DL in the league thus far? Could have fooled all our shitter OL who got consistently ran over.

This poo isn't gonna fly for real.

I'm beginning to think that PFF is ass.  I always thought they were off, but now I'm begining to think they don't even watch the games.   They said the jets have a top 10 OL, after Wilson has been sacked 10 times in two games.  We beat on him on nearly every drop back.

I only ever see that poo on here TBH. I just actually watch the games. OFC you can't notice everything so it can be good to do comparisons especially for players or positions that are harder to see. I don't take any of it to heart in the slightest. Especially since a lot of the QB metrics dont' take into account like Cams running and power ability to pick up 3rd/4th and not just 1 but 2 yards out and stuff like that.

Wanted Sewell, was boardline on Slater at our original draft slot (do want now), could have traded back for Darrisaw (not looking great with the minor injuries delaying his start). I'm fine with Horn, but still think the value was at OT. Get Neal  or Linderbaum via the draft next year and start nailing down the left side bookend or center position for the long term

Penei Sewell PFF 71
Rayshawn Slater PFF 67.8
Christian Darrisaw core muscle surgery
Alex Leatherwood PFF 32.0
AVT PFF 68.8
Tevin Jenkins back surgery

Erving has not been the weakest link on this line.    Even last night.

Erving has experience at LG, where he is better suited

Linderbaum is my current draft crush. Would love Neal but I feel like there is almost no chance we will be in a position to draft him. We should seriously just use every pick we have on OL and if just 2 pan out as good starters I'll consider it success. Just go full on shotgun style.

I think the ratings leave some context out.

Like with the pass block win rate. Does that include when no one engages a pass rusher? If not, then that doesn't even factor into the equation, which results in a better grade for the o-line even though they let a rusher come in uncontested.

    • My projection. I think at WR its time to go with youth. This means Moore should be the odd man out. Horn can return both punts and kicks and Tremayne is a better WR than Moore. XL gets one more year to prove himself, although I could see a trade in the future which would mean Moore could stay. For OL, I would like us to bring back Brady if we can. The RBs, Trevor can return both punts and kicks too. With the uncertainty of Brooks and Dillon, its hard to choose either one. I think the team would like for Brooks to have a breakout season to clear any uncertainty that he deserves a spot. For now, I have them both even and on the team. DL looks solid as well as OLB. Watch out for the UDFA of Aaron Hall and Isaiah Smith at OLB. They look promising and could knock someone off the team. ILB is still the biggest weakness on the team. We need to upgrade that any means necessary. CB is strong and Im praying to all the Gods that Wheatley beats out Scott at FS.  OFFENSE: WR: Tetairoa McMillan - *Chris Brazzell II* - Brycen Tremayne TE: Tommy Tremble - James Mitchell LT: #Rasheed Walker# - *Monroe Freeling* LG: Damien Lewis C- #Luke Fortner# - *Sam Hecht* RG: Robert Hunt - #Saahdiq Charles# RT: Taylor Moton - #Stone Forsythe# TE: Ja`Tavion Sanders - Mitchell Evans WR: Xavier Legette - Jalen Coker - Jimmy Horn Jr. QB: Bryce Young - #Kenny Pickett# RB: Chuba Hubbard - Trevor Etienne - #AJ Dillon# - Jonathon Brooks DEFENSE: LE: Tershawn Wharton - Bobby Brown III  NT: *Lee Hunter* - Cam Jackson RE: Derrick Brown - LaBryan Ray LOLB: Nic Scourton - Patrick Jones II  LILB: Trevin Wallace - Bam Martin-Scott - *Jackson Kuwatch* RILB: #Devin Lloyd# - Claudin Cherrelus  ROLB: #Jaelen Phillips# - Princely Umanmielen LCB: Jaycee Horn - Akayleb Evans RCB: Mike Jackson - *Will Lee III* - Chau Smith-Wade SS: Tre`von Moehrig - Lathan Ransom FS:  Nick Scott - *Zakee Wheatley* - Demani Richardson  SPECIAL TEAMS: K/KO: Ryan Fitzgerald P/H: Sam Martin KR: Trevor Etienne - Jimmy Horn Jr. PR: Trevor Etienne - Jimmy Horn Jr. LS: J.J. • His contract is guaranteed.  Legette is just not where he needs to be mentally.  Not fully invested, it seems.
    • Literally like Hill. He's not QB1 material (now or ever), but if we can turn him into a H-back and use him like  Swiss army knife, that's his ticket to make the roster.  H-back/emergency QB.  I wonder how good his hands are?  If they are at least above average by NFL standards then we can line him up in the backfield, in the slot, split out wide and of course, in the Wildcat.
