He can rush for a thousand yards in the NFL. He’s somewhat proven i think a lot of people are sleep on his talent. Just like when he came out the draft

I mean he probably is better today than Chubba.   But that isn’t the point.   We drafted Chubba for a reason.  Windows like we are currently in are where he can grow…with the goal of being better than Mack.

I want our young kids getting reps over JAGs.   Tremble, Brady, Chubba IMO should be put into position to get good reps.

Torn Achilles for Mack last year: 👎

CMC a couple weeks away from returning: 👍

4th round pick (Hubbard) looked improved in the second half against the Texans: 👍

Meh...I get the apprehension about our running game with CMC out, but this would be somewhat of a panic-trade.  CMC should be back soon and we drafted a talented RB who deserves some playing time to see what he's got.  Besides, if Mack is seeking a trade for "opportunity elsewhere"...then this ain't the place for him considering CMC gets like 47 touches a game when he's on the field.

If he isn’t a better option than Mack right now  why not upgrade ? Them splitting reps won’t hurt Chubba growth . But like someone else said i don’t think Mack wanna come here i think he a starter in this league for sure

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
