I'm sorry but this isn't a winning record team.

Losing always sucks, but this isn't college football, where one loss and your season is done. A poo-ton of football left to play. And let's not forget, we're pretty banged up right now. When you lose your star offensive player and your best secondary player, it's going to show. I think we'll be alright.

We have way more problems than we do solutions this year. We have been hyped all week about being the number 1 defense and a historic defense at that to give up 36 point to a middle of the road team who was on a short week. Sorry guys but this was the reality check and we are still a 8-9 team at best this year.

2019 all over again.

Your "facts" are as bad as your spelling and grammar.

Hate it all you want but it's reality. Dallas was the bar for our year. Do you really think we beat TB with this Oline? Philly? Vikings? Bills? Yes maybe the Fins and Falcons. 8-9 record isn't horrible but without a offense being able to put up 30 points or a defense that can hold good teams to 21 I just don't see it.

Carolina is a 10-7 or 11-6 and should win their division from what I saw in watching film and this game today.

Dallas was of known offensive quality and despite Fat Mac the rest of the staff is very good.  Nothing to be ashamed of being scored on by this D.

I will say this though that without the 2 ints. the outcome of this game in much question.

Did you watch the Vikings and Eagles today?

Still time to delete this before it becomes the most laughable post of the year.

Save it for the end of the year. I stand by it way more than we are a elite defense and are playoff bound threads we had before this ass kicking.

Against who?

If they played any of these teams next week (including Eagles who they do), they would be, justifiably, favored.

Eagles

Vikings

Giants

Falcons x2

WFT

Dolphins

Patriots and Cardinals are going to be good measuring stick games too.

So you want to stand by the statement we will win our division over Tampa?

    • Joe Person   @josephperson · 16m     Panthers become the 1st team this yr with 5 weekly winners: Rico Dowdle, Ryan Fitzgerald, Sam Martin, Tre'von Moehrig and Bryce. Panthers last did that in 2017: Cam Newton, Julius Peppers, Luke Kuechly, Jonathan Stewart and Damiere Byrd.
    • Gotta wonder if Smitty's brain has turned to mush with how hard he played in the NFL
    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
