He played along the Panthers sideline so they could call plays to him. He's still adjusting. We should see more against the Eagles.

This is the answer.  he got burned absolutely by amari cooper, cant lie, but he's also been in our system for 12 1/2 minutes, so he's not playing instinctual ball at all.  He still deserves more than an opportunity.

He didn't play much.  I thought the coverage on the Coop TD was fine... Coop is just that good.

I will say one of the coaches did seem really PO'd after the score though.  Not sure if it was directed at Henderson.

I think it was over the blown coverage where the safety (Franklin) jumped a short route rather than providing designed safety help deep.

I love CJ but he was put in a bad spot out there. He is a press man CB yet he had cover Cooper with a huge cushion. Cooper went in motion and wasn't touched running wild toward CJ, and then the pass rush got man handled by that Dallas o-line causing CJ to give up a deep one. Even so CJ was right there to defend it, but Dak threw a picture perfect pass.

He had decent coverage that play.

It was odd that after that play, he never saw the field again.

TBF, coaching staff was protecting.  he wasnt at fault, but he also was being fed play calls from the sideline.   I still have high hopes for him because he was burnt on an amazing pass in a defense he had learned less than a week prior.

Henderson got beat on a double move by Cooper, but watch how he made up all the ground on the play!  It was a perfectly thrown pass by Prescott and he CJ did kind of stumble at the end.

The blown coverage on that play was Franklin not providing help on top and being sucked in by the underneath routes Dallas was running.  Either way it turned into 1 on 1 coverage and Dallas made the play.

Henderson is a steal for us, just wait.....the way he made up the ground he lost initially was really something.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
