That's The Season

That officially sent this season down the drain.

The Cowboys loss was not bad.

The Philly loss was tough to accept.

Losing today was heartbreaking and we will likely lose all but 2 or 3 games the rest of the season.  You could see it on the defensive players' faces.  They are defeated...  6 weeks into the season and that dysfunctional ass offense finally broke the defense's back.

We just got beat by Kirk Cousins and KJ fuging Osborn, whoever the fug he is.  That was like watching death by a thousand papercuts and the team is definitely taking a left turn after that.

When you’re this heavily invested into the defense they can’t blow games like this. 200 something rushing yards and over 400 passing. What will the excuse be this time?

Also Brady needs to be fired after today’s garbage.

No it isn’t , thus team faught and there is no signs of quit . Once cmc is back we will not lose.

Took the offense until the very end to show any tenacity at all. Embarrassing most of the game except for the last drive.

We just got best by Kirk Cousins and KJ fuging Osborn, whoever the fug he is.  That was like watching death by a thousand papercuts and the team is definitely taking a left turn after that.

Philly loss was worse than this one.

But this game was only close because the D gift wrapped points for the O.   Too much on the Ds shoulders.

We need to invest in the OL and QB.   The Rhule/Fitt era has been about investing in everthing else.  Which isn’t how you build a team in the modern day NFL.

    • That is probably a good point that I did not consider. It doesn’t force their hand financially, to declare early.
    • Realistically he's probably not still going to be under contract when hes good to go again? Unfortunately for him you cant sign him for more than a small one year deal until he can prove hes still a good player... that might not happen.  I think hes played his last down as a panther.
    • It has been going down that backyard ball road with the QBs a long time. It also has made it more difficult to evaluate OL for the pro game.    I agree though that the NIL is making it even worse. Then they get in the league and suck, coaches get fired. Here comes a new system every year for some of them, same as you are talking about in college.    Unfortunately, IMO, the league has responded by taking the path of least resistance offensively.    The only saving grace for the QB problem we identified here is the slotted salaries out of the draft. No more 100 million rookie deals. Which today would be 250 million and even more.  So to me, paying a player that doesn’t bring success in the first two or three years, you can’t do it. Better to take another shot in the draft or reclaim someone else's failure. Given that all staffs are not equal. Look what Shanahan did with Purdy for instance. And their getting off of Lance quickly.    In theory if Canales is a QB whisperer type, which we don’t know he isn’t at least to a higher degree than many (not including the established masters) we should be quicker on the trigger with these QBs. If Bryce doesn’t show out next year we really need to hit the reset.
