Some of you people are ridiculous. Florida has zero state income tax and Miami is not comparable to Charlotte as a place for the wealthy to live. Hell isn't Florida the pedophilia capital of the US? It would be a safe space for Watson, guilty or innocent.

We have a way of making QBs and teams look better. I would say WFT and Miami would be 2 wins but after last week I think it is possible Panthers don’t win another game.

Sounds like Carolina will be in it this off-season if the Dolphins can't close it before next Tuesday, as they should be. Not mad about it, switching QBs in the middle of the season was always going to be difficult, and the draft pick compensation is going to look a lot better with Darnold running this thing into the ground the rest of the year. 

There isn't a good solution for the rest of this season, but I'd damn sure look at someone like Nick Foles if he's available for a future 6th/7th.

If we look dysfunctional now, imagine it leaking out which stars we offered up in the deal.  It will make Darnold continuing to play every week after last week's debacle look like nothing.

I don't think they need to make rush decisions about getting a QB. Looking at this upcoming QB class, they might be better off not taking one in the upcoming draft either. Odds are the Panthers will have a high draft pick again. Trade down to get a second and/or third rounder and use them on the Oline. If a trade down isn't possible, take the best Oline prospect in the first unless they are 100% on a QB prospect. But as someone else said, this staff might not be the right ones to select a QB. Same could be said for the Oline too.

Either way, Rhule will probably be here two more years. Brady and probably Darnold will be the scapegoats for this season.

They have Chuba Hubbard under contract, they like second-year back Trevor Etienne's promise and they're optimistic on 2024 second-round pick Jonathon Brooks, who has played only three games in his career because of injuries. I'm told Brooks is making good progress in his rehab and was up over 21 mph on the treadmill in a recent workout. Carolina is at least hopeful that Brooks can contribute this season, though obviously, his health history will always make that a question. Wide receiver Jalen Coker could receive a contract extension in Carolina. Panthers center Cade Mays: Some teams anticipate he could make $8 million per year on a new deal. Fowler: Mike Evans will limit his choices to a handful of teams in part because of his criteria. He wants a quarterback he believes in, a chance at a Super Bowl, a top-shelf offensive coordinator and the promise of high-volume touches. Only so many teams fit that mold. The Buccaneers will aggressively pursue re-signing Evans and met with his agent, Deryk Gilmore, on Thursday. Teams I expect to see gauge the free agent RB market include the Chiefs, Texans and Giants, among others. Carolina's Rico Dowdle and Atlanta's Tyler Allgeier are both free agents their respective teams would consider bringing back at the right contractual price, but I expect both to get a chance to hit free agency and see if they can get starter-level money elsewhere.
