156 MPH, loaded gun, BAC was 2x the legal limit.

If Ruggs doesn’t go to prison for a minimum of 20 years, the judge should lose his or her job. I’m so sick and tired of these judges letting real criminals out on the streets, but others get life in prison for some marijuana.

The whole thing is so heartbreaking.  He was so recklessly irresponsible.  Not just his life, but the lives he ended, and the families and community...damn, it's just so terrible.

I've been drinking a long time.  I've been driving a long time.  Never have I ever driven drunk.  That's one of those responsibilities that people need to learn - no matter their gifts or lack there-of.

These kinds of stories just make you sick.  All the wealth and opportunity wasted, lives lost, and more.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
