Rhule 100% was the one that wanted Sam. Fitt and Tepper wanted Fields

You have anything to back this up?

I don’t doubt it’s true but would like to see where this is coming from. If this is true, Rhule should be fired at the end of the year.

I am with you, you cant just say stuff like this on innuendo.  You have to go on job titles and franchise hierarchy.   I get that rhule has final say but its Fit that put things in motion.  Its well documented how fit talked to the jets about Darnold.  I believe it was at Fields pro day when the talk started.

And at the end of the day it was fit who not made the deal.  There were no other suitors for Darnold and not simply waiting to see how the draft unfolded and the 5th year extension is a damn near fireable offense knowing what we know now.

I was high on fit when he first came but i bowing down to him after the draft and after all these moves like a lot of guys on here were

Jaycee Horn over Justin Fields - F minus

I really wanted slater would have been fine with fields.  The horn pick is a damn head scratcher.

The throw to the tight end down the sidelines last night by fields was jaw dropping.  He has a long way to go but damn if he doesnt have all the tools

I really am not sure it matters who the QB is right now. The OL is horrendous, and the only kind of QB that MIGHT work would be a QB who can escape trouble but even then that only goes so far in the NFL

If you go back to interviews with Rhule after Darnold was brought in, on Rhule’s evaluation process before the trigger was pulled, you will hear Rhule say things like ‘looking at the tape you saw moments that made you say ‘yep, there it is’ discussing Sam’s throwing ability. He was glowing in fact in what he said

I guess he chose to ignore or do what he thinks he can always do of ‘coach em up’

A+ when you consider what the Raiders did in 2020

2020 draft:

1st round: Henry Ruggs released 1st: Damon Arnette released

3rd: Lynn Bowden traded before playing a snap

3rd: Bryan Edwards: 29 catches in 20 games 3rd: Tanner Muse released w/ 0 snaps

4th: John Simpson: PFF 53rd ranked G 4th: Amik Robertson: 169 def snaps

Comparing anyone's draft to the Raider's is like grading on a curve.

DO NOT CARE ABOUT OTHER TEAMS PROBLEMS.
