Will Joe Brady EVOLVE and put together packages/plays that align with Cam's style

Some of Cam's most productive years is when he had the run away beer truck Tolbert back there along with Stewart. Tolbert was a protector in the backfield of Cam should O-line breakdown (it will definitely here), he would run the read option with Tolbert, run plays and out of the backfield pass plays. It really confused the D because of the options.

 

Leaving Cam in a shotgun with just CMC, CMC ends up picking up the blitz and rendered useless. Enter Tommy Tremble, this young man can emulate a version of Tolbert. He likes to get physical, he can catch and be very versatile. Can also be the lead blocker on designed run plays for Cam.

 

Would love to see formations that have Robby/DJ/TMJ as wideouts with Cam/CMC/Tremble in the backfield. Less use of Ian Thomas cause he ain't worth a poo and more formations where Cam has backfield protection.

I really don't want us to abuse the RPO like Shula did. It made us predictable. Let Cam run the offense as it is now and sprinkle some designed runs.

All Cam has to do is hit the wide open guys that Sam keeps missing and we're golden.

Ditto, and that's a total 180 from how I felt when they were all brought in. But I do have some now. Or at least more than I had before bringing Cam back.

I doubt it, but I hope so. The key will be using Christian as a decoy and get-out-of-jail card for Cam but he just does not seem to know how to use him creatively.

If the offense fails now, the finger needs to point directly at Joe Brady.  Simple as that.  I'm not expecting 2015 Panthers or 2019 Chiefs, but I do expect competent offensive performances.

And like I said in the other couple threads on this topic. Brady better be on the sideline now, Learning from cam after every drive.

If Brady does that, spends a lot of time with Cam directly, works on an offense where they have equal share. I think Cam could revive possibly even make Brady’s career excel. But he has to be willing to learn from Cam and go in on equal share with him for everything.
