Most upside...Panthers or Saints

They both suck and have some of the same problems. No QB, sketchy WR core, defense very suspect, (their defense getting older and very hot or cold). They do have a good Oline when healthy. We have a sh%t Oline. Their star RB can't  stay on the field. 

They are in cap hell ( but always seem to get around it). We have some cap space but many holes to fill and players to resign  They gave a crazy contract to Hill and we did the same with CMC.

S.P is a proven coach, but having a very hard time without Brees. We have the three stooges on our staff. Finally, our division is a mess. Brady can't play forever and they will need  a QB soon, the Falcons still suck....then there is us and N.O.

Between the Panthers and Saints, who will get their sh%t together sooner and become a contender again.

Just imagine if we got an experienced coaching staff with Brady hopefully leaving in a couple years. Now we just going to let Atlanta and NO catch back up at the rate this team is looking! times

There is just no indication we will see 'sh%t together' in Pantherland with a bad front office and bad coaching staff anytime soon. Almost everyone needs to be tossed out except Dan and Sulliman as far as I can tell.

Hurney built this house and it is Dookiebread almost completely. Burn it down.

I have no idea about the future of the Saints but at this time with these people in the building, I'm not betting on the Panthers. It's bad here and just blaming Rhule misses the pack of incompetence hiding behind him. Fugem all at this point.

They need WR's badly....M.T. probably let go or traded after this year. Getting older on both sides of the ball. A.K always hurt like someone we know. Don't know what orifice they will pull the money out of to sign a quality QB. Not all roses in the Cresent city.

The Saints have a proven coach who has won a Superbowl. They've been a consistent contender for the better part of 15 years. They just had their HOF QB retire and are in a bit of flux. Watch them draft a QB prospect and suddenly morph into a contender again.

The Panthers have proven absolutely nothing with the coaching staff they have. They don't have a single quality win under their belt in 2 years. Don't tell me beating the Cardinals either time is a quality win. The Panther own that team for some reason and this year they beat them with their backup QB.

The last 2 seasons under Rhule have been frankly pathetic. Despite looking relatively competitive in 2020 despite a roster lacking talent, 2021 has been a disaster. Even a weak schedule couldn't save them. The results are so underwhelming you have to hold someone accountable. At the very least, Chase Blackburn and Pat Meyer need to be replaced.

We've been working hard for two years to rebuild this team.

And we're still the weakest team in the NFCSouth.

Better than the Saints? Nah, we're far from that. Are we better than the Falcons? We're neck and neck with them, and I'm not sure if we're holding ground at all in that race.

We're going to be a warm up team for the Bucs' play off run this year. 

Whew.

Until the Panthers get rid of this entire staff of college coaches ... the Saints and every other team in the NFC South has more upside.

Saints have a better overall roster and better coaching by far but they are fugged until they find a functional QB.

Coaching is a huge advantage for the Saints.

Our defense is significantly younger, and probably has a better future.  

QB situation is iffy for both, but they are probably a little better off than we are when Jameis gets healthy.  We do have a better group of wide receivers.  CMC, when healthy, is probably better than Kamara when healthy.  They do have a better oline.  We have a better cap situation, they have a better coaching staff.   

In truth, neither team is currently capable of challenging for a Superbowl next year.
