I always get tickled by the "If you're skilled enough to get paid to play a sport professionally then I'm entitled to be a piece of poo towards you," sentiment that inevitably pops up in response to these threads.

Go cry to Teddy anime boy.

Stuff we're seeing from the players lately makes me wonder if Rhule isn't preaching an "us against the world" sort of philosophy in the locker room. That's the kind of thing desperate coaches do sometimes.

In reality, "the world" isn't against the Panthers. It's just against their stupid coaching.

Either way ... the world is winning.

If we can make Derrick's wishes a thing I would like to suggest we Boo these car warranty assholes that call daily as well as the idiots who call from India that say they are with Microsoft and need to rid your computer of viruses. I would also like to Boo the one time I ever ordered food delivered from one of those companies and the dude showed up high as hell an hour late with cold ass food. And I want to Boo the last roofer I hired to fix a leak that come to find out didn't do poo the whole time on my roof. Boo all those clowns and maybe the lady who keeps having her dog poo right under my mailbox where I step in it when getting the mail at night. Actually I'd rather just take a dump on her doormat and replace the "Boo'ing" with some actual "Poo'ing".

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
