You look at the extreme examples - Detroit, Cleveland, Oakland etc. Bad teams with rabid fan bases.

A couple of bad seasons with this fan base and they're all selling PSLs and donning their 'second' team jerseys again.

All the people talking poo are the ones that sit in their moms’ basement watching the game on the tube tv while refreshing the huddle webpage every 10 seconds so they can post about how they are watching which ultimately means they are a “true fan”.

Spending your Sunday and your hard earned money on a poo product whether it’s a football game, movie, shopping trip, etc. doesn’t make you a good fan or a cool person... it makes you a fugging idiot.

Props to the OP’s family for realizing that there are more important things in life than the shitty product that David Tepper is trying to sell right now.

Hopefully some of the sheep that were talking poo decide to step up and purchase those PSL’s from the OP.

Seven winning seasons in a quarter century and zero consecutive. There is no culture here. That's cool that you think you are better but this isnt a perennial contender so until we can string together even two good seasons what you see is what you get.

The Browns and Lions have been in existence for 77 and 91 years. That is multiple generations of fans compared to just two decades for us.

I was at a very quiet Ford Field for the AZ victory.

I don’t know what the future holds but the current Panthers are not worth watching live at any cost.

I haven't been to a game live in 2 years and don't want to go until it is something worth spending money on.

Not selling PSLs yet, deffinatly on the table but they are effectively worthless, so I give them to family or sell them or let them go empty. The entire experience has been on decline for years sadly.

Just lol on the rest. Hating on people walking away from the financial burden just makes it feel like a cult. Watching at home is a great experience. For our quality of team yearly now, it is a mercy. Hell I don't want to go to the movies anymore either. Going to a Panthers game now is like going to Disney world when the rides are down.

Without the PSL owners, “we” wouldn’t have a team.

They’ve invested their money into the team which in turn makes them more valuable to the Panthers than the regular Joe’s that post on this board.

Maybe everyone on this board is now from the generation of Tiktok, but the last time I checked, economics is still a thing and nothing hurts the bottom line more than the PSL owners getting fed up with the product that is being shoved in their face.

Like I said, it’s easy to throw rocks from your glass house when your investment consists of a few Panther hats and 3 hours on your La-Z-Boy on Sunday afternoon compared to that of season ticket holders and PSL owners.

 

I’ll note that I don’t have PSL’s or season tickets, I live out of state and make it back to Charlotte for one game a year but I certainly empathize with the financial burden that season ticket holders and and PSL owners are experiencing… let’s not forget we are still in the middle of a pandemic. Football, shitty football at that, doesn’t seem to quite move the needle right now.

      The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.

      Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.

      I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
