I thought Mr. Whip-It-Out refused to waive the No Trade clause for the Panthers...

...has this changed?

Or was that #fakenews from the start?

Whip-It-Out's agent David Mulugheta is desperate at this point and there's zero evidence the Texans have even engaged with any other team on the topic --- it's all coming from Mulugheta.

I don’t watch a game until I get my background checks for all 100 players on the field

This^. I had someone tell me the other I quit watching football because of Kap and all the kneeling players. I’m like ok good for u, if that’s how u feel. I’m going to watch football because I like it. If you think nfl is full of choir boys, whew I feel bad when u learn the truth!

I honestly believe it doesn’t matter either way because he’s going to be playing like an elite QB for somebody. Might as well be Carolina. 

Do you demand that your mailman be unimpeachable morally? Do you do a background check on your grocery store cashier? Do you demand the legal history of the front desk worker at a hotel?

Why do you feel you need to make moral judgments about football players who have zero impact on your life if you don’t do it for everyone else you interact with on a daily basis?

It’s funny, the same nancies wailing and gnashing their teeth about Watson are probably the same ones claiming black men are overincarcerated and can’t get a second chance. 

You can't be serious.  The mailman? I have a mail lady by the way. The grocery clerks?  Yeah I am responsible for going to the grocery store and cheering them on for their winning in the bagging of my groceries.  And I do background checks on who I hire. 

I know assault victims, have a sister and daughter who both were sexually assaulted and beaten within an inch of their lives.  Both got away with it because they and their family bought their way out of it with crooked DA's.  If those scumbags can get away with it Watson surely can.

So fug you and anyone who thinks that way

I for one am not on the Watson train (legal issues aside) . if we trade for Watson we'll have to do a combination of giving up every asset we currently do have (which is not much) but giving up a combo of DJ, Burns, Chinn etc and multiple 1st round picks is roster suicide. I'm all for trading either one of those players minus Chinn for draft capital but not for another player. You then have no talent around your new prize jewel nor the resources to surround him with talent as we'll be cap strapped the moment he walks in the door and we'll give up every meaningful pick we have for the next year or two. makes no sense. No draft capital, no cap, for 1 player. Why does this remind me so much of this guy name Jerrell entire career?

Let's say team X has an elite white QB. This QB a racist. He gets filmed taking part in a KKK rally or march. The team's corporate sponsors pull all their funding in protest. People, fans and otherwise, protest outside the stadium daily. The rest of the team speaks out against the QB and refuse to play with him. Opposing players speak out and refuse to play against him too.

Is the elite QB worth that baggage?

I neither follow or cheer for any of those teams or players.  The league turns a blind eye to this stuff and it's hypocritical of them to pretend they do.

And that's ok..  Each fans tolerance level is different.  Some can only tolerate a winner LOL..  but some of us sit here win or lose..   I'll welcome them all back with open arms, because that would be we'd be winning. lol.   Part of me wants all that to happen,, but there's a raw part of me who still wants Rhule gone.

      I think you know. Apparently winning is secondary to Bryce’s development. Same as it has been.     In a way it may be good because we didn’t need to make the playoffs and extend this fuging charade about Bryce being the guy. Better in the long run if he gets enough rope to hang himself with.

      I know DC is overthinking this and he really needs to be OC or HC, but how do you call plays with a QB that in all reality, shouldn't be starting. Bryce is wildly inconsistent. He should lean on Rico and the run game, but if he does and wins, it presents a false narrative that Bryce is better than he is and he's potentially stuck with him for another season. If he doesn't, he looks incompetent as a play caller, but it exposes the ugly side of his QB situation that he really does need a QB that can execute at minimum a basic NFL offense with some decent consistency.  I feel a little sorry for the guy because he was anchored with Young this season and even more weight with Dalton getting a 2 year deal. He has very little to work with at the most important position on his team and it's not his doing. The trade deadline was approaching and it was plainly obvious we needed to do something but we didn't for whatever reason.  I don't think he's a complete bonehead and don't know what he's supposed to do. Win games and potentially keep Bryce or lose them by putting the weight on Bryce's shoulders. Either he succeeds or fails.  As a coach I know you're supposed to play to win the game, but do you win now at the ultimate long term detriment to your team and locker room?
