Ok? I think the concern is more trying to force sex to someone who isn’t expecting it and not willing to do it. If he paid for it and both parties were ok with it from the beginning than yeah I don’t most people having a problem with that.

he was exonerated of that in a court of law

I get that. OJ was innocent in the court of law, Big Ben was never found guilty, nor was Ray Lewis. Watson’s case is a “he said, she said” case. You can’t convict people on those. There is still a civil case and that’s a lot of women for it to be a set up. There are text messages of him apologizing to one of them, so there is some smoke there as well. Maybe he thought he was paying for something else? Maybe not? It was enough of an issue for him not to get traded or play last year and still might get suspended multiple games for conduct.

Exactly, people need to stop saying he's guilty.  They couldn't indict him on these charges now the only thing left is civilly.

I believe the civil suits are going to be settled.   Those women are going to have their lives turned inside and out.  Once they find, they have a very resourceful investigation team, one former customer that had sex with them their suit goes into the toilet.

IMO they'll take the money offered and move on.

Seems like a lawyer doing their job (assuming this is from the defense). Casting doubt on the motives of the whole by highlighting a few.

Overall, there's probably a mix of $$$ chasers and actual victims, but they get lumped in together.

Actual victims, even one, would have been enough evidence to force a criminal trial.

IMO....More Money Grabbers

You are making an awful lot of assumptions. Especially with your first post saying he forced himself onto people that didn't want that

If he hadn't been a damn perv, forcing himself on women, there wouldn't be anything for them to go after him for. Just because some saw an opportunity to cash in doesn't excuse his behavior.

IF it was consensual would you have a problem with it? Because it probably was.

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
