Panthers close to deal with G Austin Corbett

Panthers agreed to terms with RG Austin Corbett, formerly of the Rams.

Corbett was a former second-round "bust" with the Browns but immediately flourished when traded to the Rams at the trade deadline in 2019. He started every game at right guard for the Super Bowl-winning Rams last season but also has experience at center. In Carolina, he figures to replace free agent RG John Miller and is a huge upgrade. Corbett was Pro Football Focus' No. 31 guard out of 137 qualifiers last season

Our OL will be instantly better with him and our new OL coach. BC, Corbett, Elf, Brown, Moton looks better than that poo we trotted out last year and we hopefully will make some more moves and have a decent OL.

IT'S LITERALLY THE SAME FROM THE LAST GAME MINUS ONE PERSON JFC

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
