Why .... its obvious DW doesn't see us as a true landing spot.. So let's just hope Houston rapes the fug out of whoever's gets Watson and we continue to Build the right way.. Increase Draft capital keep cap flexibility and draft and develop a QB...

That was less about anyone specific and more to accounts who just claim "sources". You do provide content which I appreciate. I have no issue with that. If the other guy does that's on him I can't speak to that I just think the vague talk of sources has shined a light on some negatively more than others. But much of this is indicative of the major shift to social media for instant news. We just have to learn to navigate this without all the trolling taking over which may not be possible. Thanks for the good content though.

The question is who do they panic and trade for now? I think it’s safe to assume they won’t draft anyone because both Tepper and Rhule want a ready made solution and none of the QBs in the draft are that. Darnold is still there but having tried to move on from him halfway through last season and now in the off-season the likelihood that they start the season with him as QB1 is small to say the least.

What a mess.

I didn't want Deshaun Watson since the Panthers started trying to trade for him last year, but if Dar old is our starter to open the season I won't watch or go to a single game.

      I feel like this was the case with River and McDermott defenses as well, we just had the jimmies and the joes to overcome these deficiencies with all pro players at edge and linebacker positions.  Even then, was extremely frustrated in 2015 when we'd let team come back from 20+ pt deficits playing prevent only to barely win at the end.

      We need to move on soon and just use Bryce as a bridge to find our next guy. I'd like to see how this offense works with Canales hand picking his own guy. Bryce holds this offense back a lot considering you draft the first pick to carry your team and be your best player. We invested heavily for Bryce and need everything to go right just to have him look like a solid game manager sometimes. When he plays well he can look decent or mid, but when he plays bad he looks like a bottom 5 qb in league (backups included). It's not worth it, especially if we need to pay him soon, which means we have to skimp all over the roster. If the defenses don't hand it to us on a silver platter Atlanta style then we struggle big time. Defenses don't respect the offense at all. With Cam we could have the worst offensive talent and I'd still think we had a shot in any game we played. If Bryce is facing a 3rd and 10 I pretty much wave the white flag and don't think we can make that first down.
