Panthers have the Worst odds to make the Playoffs in the NFC

If I were a gambler I'd gladly take those odds and hope we hit on a rookie QB. It's ridiculous to have us behind the Giants, Falcons, Lions.

Totally agree. We have a top 5 defense and likely a decent running game with the additions made. Those two functions alone can win a lot of games.

Correct as of now.  Darnold is not a top 50 QB in the NFL, he couldn't lead the 85 Bears to the playoffs.

Sub in a QB who is merely the 25th best in the league, and it's suddenly very different

Ok gamblers, help me out here.  Is this saying if I put $1 on the Panthers making the playoffs and they do I'll receive $500?  If that's the case, sign me up for $50.  I'm willing to loose that for the possibility of $25,000 in return.  I think we could easily make the playoffs.

I believe you bet 100 to win 500.

Conversely, Tampa at -600 means you have to bet 600 to win 100.

Cough homers cough. We got smoked by all three of those teams last year minus the lions. And they would have beat us.  The team is trash. And you would lose money.

….the giants falcons both smoked us and so would have the lions. The team quite last year.

Yeah this is actually good if you’re a panthers fans. Odds don’t mean poo except where Vegas expects people to throw their money. No one outside of the Carolina’s cares about the panthers at this point in time. With the solid additions we’ve made +500 is a nice play.

When you see +500, basically move the decimal point over two numbers, so you have 5.00. Basically $1 wagered equals $5 won. So 5x your bet.
