Gameday attire is generally provided by the NFL. There was a discussion of this a while back when some coaches wanted to wear suits (still wish the NFL allowed that, honestly).

But to be perfectly honest, if he were a great head coach I wouldn't give a sh-t if he dressed like a junior high phys-ed teacher.

Given who he is though, I wouldn't like him any better if he were the best dressed man in the world.

I think its too far to go at him about stuff like this. Sure he hasn't had a good two years but this and attacking his character seems a bit much. He's still a person, probably a good one. NFL is hard.

I don't know what kind of person he is.

I just know he's not good enough to coach in the NFL.

There are pictures of him without his shoes tied at one of the QBs’ pro days …there is zero excuse for a man to have that happen

this scene from Bull Durham is perfect for Rhule   If you are a winner, you are colorful.    if you are a loser, you are a slob

He chooses what he wears and how he conducts himself. Also not much evidence to support your second point.

Bailing on 2 college teams after committing, throwing players and coaches under the bus, telling our locker room he could make more money going back to college. Seems like a great guy

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
