Most teams lose because they don't know why they lost.

Anybody looking at much of any of that speech/rambling and coming away with "this guy knows his poo" doesn't know poo.

I mean he's known about this clinic for a long time, and that's what he prepared? I'd ask for my money back.

It's just like a presser where he just throws stuff out there without ever actually answering or saying anything of value.

Jim Harbaugh made players cry but he made them realize their dream of playing in a Superbowl. Professional football requires a higher level of discipline that this team is missing because of Rhule.

To me he appears very undisciplined next to a guy like Harbaugh in almost every way.

Teams can be biased in their intentions and not look at the results objectively. Also, coaches may be invested in certain players and overlook what may be obvious to outsiders.  And throw in self preservation and healthy dose of hubris when you're making a lot of money and you can easily muck things up and not see obvious problems.

Why is that funny? We armchair GMs and Coaches act like if we had OUR way the team would win the SB every season. There's a difference in "not knowing" and being average in terms of talent and expertise.

Because I'm just quoting Matt Rhule.

With all of the sheer hatred toward Rhule... hatred  so intense that "fans" are rooting for us to lose before we have even started the season.   I wonder what the Huddle will be like if Rhule is kept on board again next year.

I'm not impressed by Rhule but it will be funny when all these people walk back their takes and pretend it never happened if Rhule ends up winning, just like they did with Ron Rivera

I'm not impressed either, but I'm not rooting for the other teams.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
