Tepper appears to like Rhule in the rah rah role so he brought in football folks to run the front office and to actually coach the players.  This could work.

So the HC of an NFL football team isn't a "football" guy and you think that's a winning formula?

The bonds were RH problem and again RH asked to not discuss this in the media...

Plain and simple RH defrauded in the original deal wanted to negotiate after the fact and Tepper said no..

Let's move on .

Bonds don't magically appear.  We know RH accuses Tepper of being a wrench in that.  Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't.

Tepper has refused to answer all questions and did so before he nixed the deal and before RH allegedly  begged him not to say a word about anything and everything.

again, good reporters don't not ask questions because rich people don't want to answer them.

and to quote Tepper today, he is idiot and has made a lot of mistakes.

This isn't gotcha reporting or a big time news story at this point....

Once the guy says 3x he isn't answering the question why asked him 20 more times about it..

Especially when 70% of the fan base don't give a fug about Rock Hill..

It depends on how everyone's role is defined. When Rhule was making the decisions about personnel we made mistakes compounded by an inexperienced staff. With competent people running all phases of the actual football program and good office folks making personnel decisions, it means he can let the football folks do their job while he oversees everything but doesn't have to micromanage everything.  Rhule was a good college football guy but not a great NFL football guy although he is learning. If he allows his folks to do their job then no he doesn't have to know everything or be the smartest guy in the room. Often HCs spent more time managing people and herding cats than they do making up gameplans and doing Xs and Os.

Call me crazy but I want a football guy for a HC. We will probably improve if he is kept away from football coaching decisions though.

Of course we all want the next Belichick, but my point was that if he stays in his lane and let the coordinators do their job we could be much improved despite him.

Hopefully that lane is one of the "football" people handing him a 20 and telling him to go see a movie...on game day. lol

    • Miami Dolphins After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL draft, Davis signed with the Miami Dolphins on April 30, 2023.[12] He was waived on August 29, 2023 due to his in-game injury.[13] Injury On August 26, 2023, during the fourth quarter of the Week 3 preseason game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, Davis suffered an injury after sustaining a hit from Jaguars linebacker Dequan Jackson while the wideout was attempting to catch a pass from teammate James Blackman. Jackson appeared to make helmet-to-helmet contact with Davis, drawing an unnecessary roughness flag after the play and leaving Davis immobilized and later carted off the field. The game was later suspended with 8 minutes and 32 seconds remaining, with Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel saying, "The two teams agreed that football shouldn't be played anymore tonight." This was the second game to be suspended in the 2023 NFL season as the first involved Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden after a Week 2 preseason game against the Packers.[14] The next day on August 27, 2023, the Dolphins had released a statement saying that Davis was released from the hospital and would be traveling back to Miami with the team personnel.[15] However two days later on August 29, 2023, Davis was waived by the Dolphins with an injury settlement ahead of the team's cuts for the 53-player roster limit
    • By all means, go for it and talk down the league that guy came from its all good. Its just funny to hear you laugh at someone else's accomplishments having zero yourself.  Life is about criticisms of course......And it can also be fun to laugh at those those on the other side as well who never did a thing minimize others accomplishments. Good day sir!
    • Exactly,  there's only so many "elite" qbs in the league at any one time. It's usually 4 or 5 at most. Sometimes less.
