Or Jay-Z. Then, he and Rhule could have been on the same 7 year plan!

Jay Z became a superstar 2 years after his debut album.

Jay Z would fire Matt Rhule

Matt Rhule uses creative math.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Navarro vetted and the other owners came to the conclusion to exclude him because they didn’t like the way he became a billionaire? Something along the lines of predatory lending and buying up debts off companies and suing the poo out of the the delinquents and taking everything that they had?

Don't know that they had any issues with Navarro so much as they just really wanted Tepper.

They told one of the other bidders (Michael Rubin, maybe) that he didn't need to continue unless he was prepared to spend 5 billion. He wasn't, so he dropped out. And then of course the team sold for far less than that.

Navarro did have the 💵 💰 💵

Neither did Rubin, Kestenbaum, Sabates, or anyone else...

...it was a one 🐎 race all along 😎👊.

Not actually true. Other bidders had the funds. As I recall, Tepper actually would have been the lowest bidder.

Unfortunately for us, he was who the NFL wanted so we're stuck with the Horsesh-t Model 🦄

💵 💰 on hand and some sort of contrived "net-worth" number are two completely different animals...

...there was one thoroughbred 🐎 in the race...

...and a whole bunch of 🦨 🦨🦨... 🤣

The other "bidders" didn't have the funds to close so what they may or may not have bid is not relevant...

...there was only one legit bid with funding in place & ready to close 🐎👊.

They should just go ahead and get you on the payroll. Make it official.

Its a total different deal when one guy can back up a brinks truck loaded with real cash and the other two groups are filled with people showing you paperwork. Most are full of lies and take a long process to get to the brinks truck.

I agree with the other poster who said that Rock Hill is basically a microcosm of what Tepper is planning. You either pay up or he will play hardball.

For the record, I think this gets done and the Panthers stay in Charlotte. But I don't think it's a 100% lock.

Maybe more like 70-30%.

Rubin since bought ownership stakes in both the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Devils. He also sold a company he founded for more money than Tepper paid for the Panthers.

As far as thoroughbreds, if Robson Walton buys the Broncos (very real possibility) he's going to become the new richest owner in the NFL. His net worth makes Tepper look lower middle class.

That the NFL is courting him is probably a good sign they realize David Tepper isn't what they hoped he'd be.
