Any lawyers want to speak on this claim of liability based solely on association? Is there any precedent, or is it more a case of straw grasping?

Even under the worst case scenario, I don't believe it will change the price of tea in China regarding Panthers operations (other than using Panthers checks for official Panthers business. Tepper may take a hit, but, "Que será será!"

It could but it's gonna have to be more than just this.  If his holding co was still largely calling the shots then it prob wont matter.

Confession: I found that particular collection of dumbass takes and desperate cries for attention a while back but decided not to expose his silliness.

Kinda surprised it took this long for someone else to run across it 😄

Just to understand, are they claiming the firm running the RH project (which I believe was a Tepper firm IIRC) was just taking money out of the Panthers to line his own pockets? If so that's messed up, and the NFL should look at Tepper immediately. That's some poo I expect from Dan Snyder.

No, nothing unscrupulous going on here. A little sloppy with the business practices by not keeping a delineation between his real estate company (set up for that particular propertyost likely) and the Panthers LLC perhaps, but nothing criminal

I think what it means is that Tepper was comingling funds. Using 1 company to pay another companies bills. I imagine this opens up the larger company, IE Panthers, to liability.

Wells that's likely to be the claim, but I'd suapect that it's a little nebulous, and assuming @CBDellinger , a fellow huddler who responded to my original question in this thread, knows about this sort of thing, then the Panthers' legal liability is probably nominal, if not nil.

Attorneys, feel free to chime in.

D. Tepper isn't losing sleep over any of this.

Well if his General Counsel is worth their salt, he shouldn't have to.

P.S. I'd think it would be funny as hell if Tepper just steps in and says" Eff it, I'm just going to complete the entire RH Project on my own coin". I think the lawsuits would drop, and suddenly RH and York Co. would be singing the praises of their "best new buddy" David Tepper.

How likely see that coming from a guy who sticks other people with the dinner bill? 😕

I thought he just got his rocks off with his troll bit here but judging by that Twitter account he is legitimately psychotic.

Not sure about psychotic, but it's plainly obvious he really really wants attention.

Part of his issue though is that he doesn't seem to understand just how obnoxious he comes off in the pursuit of it.

I don't even know who that is, but it's easy to be an ass online, but not necessarily so easy in someone's face. Perhaps dude just gets his rocks off on trolling across social platforms. I think there's a degree of cowardice in that, but it is what it is. Perhaps it's simply a form of entertainment. You never know what's going through people's minds.

Yeah trolling and anonymity have had a detrimental effect on the way we all interact and we all share responsibility for that. But his vendetta against John Ellis of all people who is easier going than most is just strange. Ohwell.

It's our buddy Sizzlebuzz. And if I put on the amateur profiler's hat that I earned by watching ten plus seasons of Criminal Minds, I can tell you what I see.

His biggest desire is for attention / acknowledgement from people he considers "famous" or important (mostly local radio or newspaper guys). It's why if you look at his tweets, so many of them tag anywhere from one to a dozen of those people at a time.

He used to do the same thing here under his current ID and previous ones, frequently tagging Igo and others, usually mods (Igo at one point just had to tell him to stop tagging him). Again, seeking attention from people that are "important" in his mind, and trying to portray himself as their equal...or better.

But at least on Twitter, they don't respond to him. Heck, the only responses I've ever actually seen to any of his tweets are his own.  That's probably because he's constantly telling all those folks how much smarter than them he thinks he is (see his interactions with Ellis as an example).

Between that, the lies he (unsuccessfully) tells about himself and other stuff, the bottom line is he wants to be thought of as a big deal.

As mentioned though, the way he goes about it just makes him a big annoyance.

I've cautioned him numerous times to stop trying to act like he's King Sh-t and just be happy to be part of the conversation but he never listens. Most likely he'll end up banned again at some point, quite possibly in the not too distant future.

And then later, the cycle will start all over again 😕

Oh, he's a Mo Brooks fanboy lol. Shouldn't have wasted that 2 minutes of my life scanning his feed.
