Exactly, but he threw a ton of picks his sophomore year and has improved that each year and Im not really talking about picks. Im talking about his reads and missing open receivers. Also, adjusting to an NFL system will be somewhat of a struggle for him early.

Nah, man. He's just beginning. He was damned good in college. He can't help the system that he played in. There is no evidence that he's a bad decision maker. Give him time to develop and some consistent time to actually create a body of work before criticizing him.

He's obviously got the fastest legs and quickest release on the athletic side. Lack of reps is the most concerning thing to me and thats on coaching. Probably won't change unless someone in front of him gets injured. That's how Brady and Herbert and Baker took over the starting roles previously, just glad he's obviously not getting complacent being 3rd/4th string

So what's the preseason plan in people minds? A quarter for each guy? It's weird because generally teams only play their starters serious minutes in the 3rd game but we're possibly looking at all 3 games being a competition at QB

My guess is a few starters won't play are all this presason: Horn, definitely CMC and maybe a few more. But I think Baker, Sam, PJ(I have no idea why Rhule has a hard on for this guy), and Corral will all get some playing time. I wouldn't be surprised if Mayfield and Darnold both play all 3 games. But I also wouldn't be surprised if Rhule announced Mayfield and Darnold sit out games 1 and 3 and only play maybe a quarter apiece in the 2nd game.

Yeah strange situation to be in. I think if Rhule had a boner for Corral like he did Chuba, we'd get to see the same amount of preseason reps. Chuba got like 80% of the snaps in those games last year it felt like. Rhule seems to like to force certain guys into success and not give others much of a chance

Best case is he looks so good that they are comfortable outright cutting the loser of the baker/darnold battle for starter and he’s set as backup during the year

When he wins a playoff game wake me up.  Dude hasn't seen a second of actual game time.

If every player went from the bench to playoffs the world would be boring.

I'd like to see him on the field.  I personally believe Corral is our future.   It will be enjoyable watching him grow which may include losing a some games.

If you only want to see him when we reach the playoffs you've probably missed seeing him grow.

Something about Corral already feels way different (better) than most QBs we’ve had come through here. I kinda see him having at the very least a Minshew-esque career eventually. Hopefully better than that and soon, but not ideal having his reps limited behind Sam...

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
