Rhule does not like older players (he can’t brain wash them that the progress is working). Our oldest player is JJ and he tried to get rid of him.

they will sign a no name DE to the spot …. Mark it down

Odd that you say that, but I was wondering why the Panthers didn’t reach back out to Bouye with all the injuries that we’ve recently had at the CB position. Guy knows our team, how we operate, and had a decent year last year…. yet, the Panthers keep bringing in random ass kids from Pembroke and Appy.

I have been saying that for the last two years. He does not like old vets.

Go to the roster. Sort it by age. Take notice of when these players became Panthers.

Educate yourself. The internet is at your fingertips.

Not trying to bust your balls… but according to the data, he’s 100% right… we were the youngest team in the league last year and have only gotten younger.

We’ll have a max of maybe four players over 30 on the roster and potentially only two if Stanford and Roberts (both of which are bubble players) don’t make it.

JPP, Everson Griffen, Takkarist McKinley should all be considered.  We should also be open to a making a trade.

Matt Rhule shouldn’t be allowed to trade draft picks.

when cuts happen some old vet will get cut for young blood.  That should be all he can work with

This is kinda getting old.  It’s clear Fittz is in charge.  Rhule doesn’t have the authority to trade draft picks.  Our last several trades have been very solid anyways.  Sam was an obvious miss, but everything else has been solid.

    • I mean, I think you're being a little hyperbolic with the last statement, but point taken.
    • Pass rush was the biggest issue in tonight’s game, and we were tied for 28th in sacks this season. That is a major area of need that has to get addressed this offseason. I just don’t see a path where there’s a game changing QB you can bring in with where we are drafting and quality of veterans that will be available. We certainly can do better than Dalton as a backup, and should ideally have a developmental guy  (perhaps a day 3 pick this year). We have bryce for one more year on a reasonable contract and then I think 2027 is the year that you reset that position (unless he massively improves).
    • Agreed, honestly basically bringing this group back as a healthy unit would be alright.  Brady Christensen should be resigned to a very reasonable deal with him recovering from the Achilles.  Atleast we're alright at 4 of our 5 spots with Lewis, Mays, Hunt, and Moton, Nijman was decent.  While if we can snag a deal on someone, take a stab, however our resources need to go to Linebacker, Pass Rush and a real option outside Tmac (coker is amazing, but if we can get someone who isnt braindead opposite Tmac, we can fully unleash Coker AND Tmacs full potential, cant move him into the slot if racoon boy is out there licking doorknobs).
