I did halfway through last season. Now I just have it on my 2nd monitor with the sound turned off. It may not get that much going forward.

I went there after last weeks game. Kind of liberating really, watched most of the game with the sound off.

I was more entertained watching the Dolphins come back and beat the Ravens.

Hell...I was more entertained watching the f'n Lions beat the Commanders, for god's sake.  lol.

It's just becoming such a chore watching this team.

Even the goddamn Jets managed to come back and win.

Tis sad but true. I’ve taken a new approach to this season and decided to do aquarium maintenance as I watch/listen to the game on my phone. It’s almost like background noise like a YouTube video would be while cleaning tanks. An odd change from usually being glued in front of the tv, but the way things have been going the last couple seasons, this is the best they get of my time. And it sucks to feel that way.

Add me to the list. Been a fan since the 90s. I'll always be a fan but theres absolutely nothing to look forward to at the moment. Tepper just massively effed up by hiring rhule. Just hope the next hire is done by Fitterer and he has absolutely NOTHING to do with it. That said, I'm afraid hes one of those owners who likes to meddle and will fug it up again.

After we kept Rhule after last year, I definitely don’t give a fug, and clearly neither does ownership. We are legit a laughingstock of the NFL.  Paying Sam Darnold 16 mil, and making a Hail Mary move with Baker is just icing on cake.  Rhule should never sniff any head coaching job anywhere, including college and HS.  Maybe peewee football, but he does give diddling vibes, so maybe not even that

Still care, always will. Only watching  a franchise because their are winning is a bandwagon hopper approach. poo sucks right now, but I still want to watch them play football. I do encourage getting Redzone though, very fun to wathc on Sundays.

I'm no bandwagon fan. Don't accuse anyone who has been a fan of the team for 25-30 years a bandwagon fan.

It's not just because we are losing that I don't care. We've had horrible seasons before. Remember there were two years we had the worst record in the league and most of us stuck around because we had hope that things would turn around. Even if we finished winning no games, at least there was this sense that next year would be different with a new coaching staff.

And before we had those bad seasons, we had some good ones. When we got a new coach last time, it was supposed to get better.....it didn't.

Now it just feels we are stuck and the worst part of it is we are stuck with a coach who isn't getting better and an owner who won't let him go and we've been promised 5 more years.

Its been so long since we've had a winning team and we are committed to a holding pattern of suck.

Now I can't say this is the case for anyone else, but it's just not fun for me anymore. Before I planned my schedule around Panthers games and my family has had to put up with a lot. They've been ok with it, but I've still felt bad at times. Days where we lost and there was no hope of us winning, I hung in there till the end and my family waited.

Panthers were that important to me. They just aren't anymore.

And the thing is, I don't feel bad about it. If the Panthers turn the page from the Rhule era, I might start to care, but I've got no confidence in this era with Rhule. I've got no hope it faith in this team anymore and I have no reason to believe that it will get any better with Rhule. I've seen nothing to inspire any confidence whatsoever.

I'm just tired of it all and don't see much reason to waste my time with this team I've loved since i first heard was coming to the Carolinas nearly 30 years ago.

If Rhule goes I'll give it another chance, but as long as he's here I'm just going to find something else to do.

I'm no bandwagon fan, but I am a tired fan who is likely going to move on from watching if we don't move on from Rhule.

I won't be trading my jersey in for another. I'll just be finding more interesting games to watch or finding more interesting things to do.

    • Here’s a summary of the JJ and Luke podcast transcript. Opening / Bryce Young Fifth-Year Option     •    JJ: Breaking news — Panthers picked up Bryce Young’s fifth-year option at $25.9M, guaranteed, coming in 2027. Combined with his 2025 salary of ~$6M, that’s $31M over two years — called it a “no-brainer.”     •    Luke: Enthusiastic about the move. Highlighted Bryce’s improving TD/INT ratios (11/10 → 15/9 → 23/11) and the value of entering year three with Dave Canales. Noted $25M is a bargain relative to the $60M top of market. Luke’s Personal Update — Charlotte Christian Football     •    Luke: Working with Charlotte Christian school football program, which hired a new head coach. Coaches include Greg Olsen, Luke, and Greg’s dad Chris Olsen (a New Jersey State coaching Hall of Famer).     •    JJ: Jokingly quipped that Charlotte Christian’s coaching staff is “the world’s greatest” — a Fox analyst, a Hall of Famer, and the best Panthers RB ever — all coaching middle school football.     •    Luke: Praised Chris Olsen’s deep football knowledge spanning decades and his ability to connect with kids. Round 1, Pick 19 — Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia     •    JJ: Panthers were on the clock and submitted their pick almost immediately — a sign of confidence and preparation. Freeling is 6’7”, 320 lbs, played in the SEC in a pro-style system.     •    Luke: Loved the pick. Emphasized you can never have too many quality offensive linemen. Noted Freeling’s size, athleticism, and arm length as key traits. Said the pick also reflects team’s philosophy of drafting great people, not just great players.     •    JJ: Noted reporter Darren Gantt compared Freeling favorably to Jordan Gross — bigger, heavier, and faster — as a potential franchise left tackle.     •    Luke: Pointed out that young players like Freeling still have physical development ahead of them, comparing the trajectory to Christian McCaffrey’s growth from age 20 onward. Round 2, Pick 49 — Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech     •    JJ: Panthers traded up from 51 to 49 (pick swap with Minnesota) to grab Hunter. Played audio from Panthers area scout Kaden McLuhan, who scouted Hunter.     •    Scout Kaden McLuhan (audio): Said Hunter’s size is immediately striking, and that everyone around him spoke glowingly about his character, energy, and love for the game.     •    Luke: Praised Hunter as a massive (6’3”, 320 lbs, ~34” arms) two-gap nose tackle who fits perfectly in the Evero defense. Compared his prospect profile to Akiem Hicks. Said having Derek Brown, Bobby Brown, Derrick Brown, Terson Wharton, and now Hunter creates varied body types that stress offensive linemen.     •    JJ: Noted Hunter ranked third among all prospects in run-stuff rate and sixth in interior pass-rush win rate — addressing a perception that he couldn’t rush the passer. Rounds 3–7 Highlights     •    Luke: Highlighted WR Brazle (3rd round, 6’4”, 437 speed, 1,000+ yards at Tennessee) as the vertical threat the offense needed. Also praised OL Sam Heck (5th round) as a technically sound player whose “short arms” caused him to fall but who has proven himself.     •    Luke: Mentioned CB Will Lee (6’1”, 33” arms) fits the Panthers’ DB prototype — big, long corners.     •    Luke: Praised S/LB hybrid Zaki Wheatley (5th round, 6’3”) as a big nickel similar to Trayvon Merek.     •    Luke: Excited about the linebacker competition between Devin Lloyd, Trevvin Wallace, and Claudin Cherless.     •    JJ: Noted Panthers had the #1 “steal/overreach” rating in the entire draft — drafting players lower than consensus big boards projected. Around the League     •    Luke: Admitted being “a little jealous” that the Miami Dolphins drafted LB Jacob Rodriguez (Luke’s favorite LB in the draft). Has personal connections to Miami’s coaching staff (Jeff Hafley, DC Shawn Dugen — a childhood teammate).     •    Luke: Also noted Miami’s selection of OT/G Kaden Proctor out of Alabama, who will likely move to guard. League Trends — Bigger Tight Ends / 12 & 13 Personnel     •    JJ: Observed the NFL saw its highest run rate in ~11 years (~52%) and a notable pivot toward big blocking tight ends in this draft.     •    Luke: Explained the cyclical nature of NFL offense/defense evolution — as defenses get smaller to match spread offenses, teams counter with bigger personnel (12/13 formations), which then forces defenses to get bigger at the nickel/“big nickel” spot. Called it an ongoing arms race.
    • Dan Vladar is their best player and that is going to be the difference in the series
    • Nothing about the Flyers scare me. They are a mid team that just barely made the playoffs.
