you're not a good team if you need players to be hurt to win. We only beat the Saints last year because of Rona virus taking out half their team. Coach's included. LOL

True but typically opposing teams have never cared when they beat us because we were without our best players. You take what you can get, but when you're as bad as we are ...that's all that we can get

injuries should not be why we win a game or a win to get happy over good lord

all this is doing is hurting our draft position this team is trash

i mean we are going on five years of losing miserably…haven’t you anti tankers had enough?

ironically it’s really hard to get on the anti tank, all wins feel good train when you hate losing so much

Kamara not playing would be a disadvantage for the Saints. Winston's injuries are no an ideal situation either.

Their defense is still very very stout, their oline is not shabby at all, and they still have Ingram in the backfield, Thomas waiting to catch 15 slants on 17 targets for something absurd like 150 yards. In other words they are still extremely capable of dinking and dunking and power running their way up and down the field to victory.

I think all our guys will play this week, Kamara and Winston included. Winston shouldn't be as hampered as he was last week if his injury is actually what's being speculated as (transverse fractures) which were the same injuries Cam Newton had after the car wreck in 2014 and Derek Carr had in 2017 (both missed a game but played the following week). It'll be a pain management deal, but he shouldn't be in nearly as much pain as last week.

Defense indeed has been stout (only allowed 3 TD's so far) and should be even better if Adebo returns this week after missing the first 2 games.

Our OL however has been a bit shaky compared to previous years. We've been running the ball well (including pushing around the Bucs' front 7 last week), but pass protection has a lot to be desired allowing 20 pressures on 74 pass attempts (10 sacks, 6 hits, and 4 hurries) through only 2 games. If y'all can generate pressure consistently all game, y'all will likely win with how anemic our offense has been. First one to 10 might win, LOL.

I think the oline is certainly not as dominant and overwhelming as previous editions. LT has taken a step down, and that's probably reflected in your statement about pass protection. The rookie went down in preseason and Hurst, if that is who ended up at the position, is not Armstead, but overall the line is still good and the interior is strong.

You underestimate the ineptitude and toothlessness of our team at the moment. Thanks for being kind, but as the stat revealed last week, we are 1-25 when allowing a team 17 points. Most NFL teams can score more than 17 points.

    • Was just explaining this to some dummy named Willy in another thread. I think he was just smoking’ too much cheese.  This has been going on for ages. Trent dilfer got all the ladies and threw just as many TDs as interceptions. This was the more violent era of football. The soft mfrs wanna see the passing TDs but the truth is that ain’t what ultimately wins football games. It’s a STRONG D, and an unstoppable run game, with some passes to keep the defense honest, if a for a TD great. in fact I would venture to say that the two panthers super bowls consisted of the same except cam threw more tds than interceptions and could run like Jamal Lewis and priest Holmes. its a tale as old as time. Something all ball knowers understand.
    • This team just traded a 2nd round pick for Bradley Chubbs. Edge, Miami Dolphins.
    • Ngl, as good as I felt about us after winning yesterday, when they showed the top NFC teams on SNF, I realized what a crazy year this is.  The NFC seems uncommonly top heavy.  As of today, we aren’t anywhere near playoff positioning, which at 5-4 seems very, very weird compared to most years.  I know things will shake out further as the season goes on and it likely won’t look the same, but I have the feeling it’s one of those years that you’ll need like 11 wins to get in as a wildcard. seems very like a very pantherish thing to rebound this year and that’s what it would take.
