Don't be too hard on them. While, yes, fandom and everything etc etc.

They feel cheated and lied to. They're genuinely mad because the owner and Coach are hucksters.

The huddle has NEVER been more united.

these feel good holier than thou homers would win good $$$ if they put their money were the mouth was and bet the panthers make the playoffs, or more. of course they wont bet because deep down they know this team sucks ass, they just want others to maintain the facade besides themselves.

I'm sorry, but if this was them playing for their coach they are in worse shape than I could have imagined.

That offense was horrible. The defense capitalized on another bad offense. You put them against a good offense and they won't look nearly as good.

To be honest, I don't care if they love their coach. I think that's great, but he's still a bad coach who shouldn't have a job in the NFL and as long as he is their coach, he's holding them back.

Everyone knows the panthers are in a slump.  Its the general piss ant and anger that has taken over.  It has made this board hard to read and be apart of.  I'm sure the next post will be "well dont read it" or "shut up bitch".  But I hate to see a once cool place to chill turn into such a toxic place.

That may be but if the saints weren’t going for that 32 spot too we’d have lost.

Saints traded away their 1st round pick to the Eagles.

I'm not saying this wasn't an ugly win, but internally the Saints feel they can compete.

Go watch the end of the game locker room. Those guys love Rhule, and he loves them. He’s not going anywhere folks.

Doesn't make him a good coach and it doesn't mean that he should have a job here.

It does mean that we've just got low standards.

Panthers are more content having a coach they like than trying to find a coach that will bring them success.

That loved Fox and they loved Rivera, too. Both should have been fired before they were. Same is true for Rhule.

You and Zod are the two biggest dipshits on the board.

    • I just don't think some guys have it. Darnold has the panic gene. I don't think there's any fixing it. He looks really good as long as the play develops as drawn up or if he gets pressured immediately and has to go to his check down right away. It's when he has decent protection and his first read isn't open and he's standing back there in the pocket with that panic slowly building. That's when he does disastrous poo.
    • based on the QBs drafted #1 comparison thread, he’s right where he should be. if your expectations were to have a rookie lead us to the playoffs without an OL and WR corps, maybe your expectations were a bit off.
    • at some point, though, you just have to suck it up and accept it and deal with the bad deal you got.  you go through funks where you keep making mistakes and hope that you get it figured out sometime soon, but in the learning process you realize you could have done some things better but you're stuck with decisions you make. you have two choices...whine about it or just brush it off and hope can make the situation you put yourself work. i know a lot of people in here have probably never experienced or dealt with failure much in their lives, but i have and i learned to just suck it up and try to make the best of the situation you've got yourself in because you realize that you're stuck with it for a while. doesn't do any good to keep harping over what you wish you had done better. you already know that. now it's just about moving forward from here and making the best of it and hoping you can make something of it. it's the easiest thing in the world to look at where Bryce falls short...and yes, that was intentional. everyone knows that and all that is done is beating that horse laying on the ground. what takes some work is trying to see how it can work and if they have done and are doing things to help the situation get better.
