Some idiot, in their zest to dog out every single thing that Rhule and/or Fitterer does, was saying how we should've drafted Neal based on a couple of games, and insinuated that Ickey was indeed a bust. I forgot who it was, and we've had so much of that going on...

Ickey has had like 4 or 5 bad PLAYS in 3 full games.  Anyone calling him a bust needs a mental evaluation.  Hes gotten better every single game.  I thought he was really good last week.

Someone also called Horn a bust, so take a lot of what’s said here with a grain of salt. Boys will be boys. Same with the ‘Saints fan’ that took his Jersey off at the game.

In fairness to Neal, though....he is also a rookie. Andrew Thomas got slammed his first season as being a bust and now he is one of the best LT's in the NFL.

I am more than willing to be patient with Ikey and especially if we can bring BC along beside him. Maybe in a couple of seasons we have that side shored up for a while.

All of the top tackles in this draft have had their crappy moments.  IMO Icky has had less issue than the others.  None of them are going to win any awards other than being on the rookie team. Thomas from Dallas might be one of them. 

Too many fans think that they should dominate every play.  Most forget that these rookies are going against the best edge rushers in the league.  Experience over ability.  Those rookies are going to get burned a couple of times.

Ikey just needs time.  I think some of the stuff being out of position, etc... is going to work itself out.  There is a referendum on his draft position and potential every game and usually the arguments are not rational.  Same garbage for JC "shoulda drafted Fields" Horn.

I’ve seen enough flashes from Ickey already to know LT is locked down and it feels great. 
 

There were times when he would get his hands on Garrett and it was OVER. His punch is elite.
