Burns is set to hit free agency and currently has four sacks, putting him on pace for a career year.

I mean you take that deal.  You say goodbye to Burns. 

is Burns talented? Yes.  But to date he has been an incomplete DE.  A pass rush specialist that has never hit double digit sacks. 

Especially when your win horizon is down the road and have to draft a QB to build up.

Look I really don't want to trade Burns but he's a 3-4 jack. If we can get two firsts and a pick next year I would take it. We ain't doing anything for another two years. And I say that with pain in my heart.

Love Burns but turning this down would be tough. I don’t think the Rams are Burns away from a super bowl and this will probably be at least a top 10 pick by 2025.

Not to mention we have no idea what type of defense we will run with a new head coach. In 2024 the Ram's will be more than likely retooling and we might just be hitting our stride. Would be nice to have those picks.
