Mel Kiper should come with a "for entertainment purposes only" label.

Honestly, he deserves significant credit for creating the hype around the draft but he also deserves significant blames for all the terrible takes year after year of acting like certain prospects are sure things, "plug and play starters", future All-Pros, etc.

It was worse than you remember.

Allen was a tweak, a big one but more of a tweak. Link

Yeah but he still throws like that. All those crazy off platform throws that announcers jerk off all over.....that is the stuff that guy in the article is calling atrocious.

His mechanics are better now and he did work on it before he got to the NFL but all good QB's always tweak things. Ask Peyton Manning.

Rivers is a good example of a guy that always had an odd sidearm style but it worked for him.

Kiper was one of the more accurate ones for 2022.

Allen and Mahomes say hello.

I think it's a safe rule to follow but the 2 best QBs in the NFL says there is a chance.

Mahomes changed his throwing motion?

Allen, they worked on his footwork - the same thing that COULD have fixed Darnold, y'know, before we sacrificed him behind the worst OLine in the NFL.

I simply cannot understand why anybody would rate Will Levis this high. Bryce Young is the best QB prospect in this class, and I don't really think it's all that close.

He might be, but he's also 5'10 and about 180lbs.

I'm loathe to risk it on someone that small.

Footwork wasn't fixing Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold's issue is between his ears. He's a panicker. You can't fix panic.

Not with instant pressure in the A gap that's for sure.

Hell, some of his worst plays are on downs where he has protection. When he can actually survey the field and go through his reads it's usually a disaster. You can literally watch him start to panic as his internal timer goes off and then he does something stupid. 😂
