Dude looked better after 30 hours with McVay, a dozen plays on a wristband, and practice squaders at OT and WR than he ever did here. That's a reality check.

The Rams' coaches apparently did a thing called watching film on him and designing plays to match what he does well.

I guess the analytics said that was not a wise use of our coaches' time.

I do think tonight has to be an indictment on McAdoo which ultimately goes back to Matt Rhule. McAdoo better call the game of his life Sunday.

That being said, good for Baker. He made some incredible throws, especially on that last drive. He didn't make those throws here. And no one besides the Rams put in a waiver claim. None of the playoff teams, especially San Fran looked at his film this year (or last year) and thought he'd be an upgrade.

I think tonight will still prove to be more anomaly than not, but it doesn't diminish how incredible it was, and it definitely puts him from being on the fringes of the league to absolutely being securely on a team next season and beyond.

This. McAdoo was the best OC Rhule could get to rudder his sinking ship. There's nothing he can do to save his job here. If he had a prayer, Baker drove the last nail in the coffin tonight.

Happy Baker got LA the win. A win for us. Get this coaching staff outta here, and move us further up the draft board. Just need to complete this week with a loss. Hopefully, Geno torches us.

I like Wilks as a man, but this doesn't look good for anyone on our coaching staff. At the least he looked like 2020 Baker off of 1 walk through on Wednesday throwing to the Rams 2nd string WR's. Imagine if he could have brought Rashard Higgins with him who for some reason can't see the field under McAdoo/Wilks/whoever makes those calls

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
