If he would have taken the Giants job, he would have made less money and gotten fired a year earlier.

probably. and his rationale for all the losses and spins to make them sound like wins would have been torpedoed a lot quicker and more violently by the press.

Ruhle is a coward and soft. He could have at least left with some dignity, showing accountability and leadership, but nah he is gaslighting everyone that his hands were tied and he couldn’t make the moves he wanted and his complete and total disaster was because some one else. The team has played much better now under an NFL HC who quite frankly is bottom tier.

pathetic. Man what a horrible, horrible hire. Set the franchise back a couple years. Doesn’t look good for Nebraska.

All anyone has to do is see we had the most players from a couple particular colleges, Baylor and Temple, than any other team in the NFL had from any college to be able to see he is full of poo about having his hands tied.

Rhule was on with Rich Eisen as well...

he didn't make the picks.....yet had in his contract he had final say.  If Rhule was a GM he would be talking about how an intern technically ran the card over to be turned in.

Rhule just out there bullshitting lies because he knows the odds favor the Panthers not getting into a back in forth with a busted out NFL coach.  Especially while they are trying to finish out their own season.

    • Sure, but if that happens, the draft pick will look even worse for the Falcons, as instead of getting them a player that could win now, they took someone who ran off their prize FA QB after 3 years and now looks like they may be a bust. Penix was one of the more polished QB's in the draft and would have probably been a rookie starter if taken by someone with an uncertain starting QB, if he's not ready to step in and play well in year 3, then it's probably not going to work out.
