DJ should have been a flag and this should have been an ejection.

I don’t understand why when our guy does something stupid you guys want to.cry about it and say such and such git away with it.

I actually agree…DJ can’t take his helmet off, it’s unsportsmanlike conduct.  Regardless of what happens elsewhere.  Gotta be smarter there

Smitty got ejected for touching a ref. Smith barely touched the guy. Cannot remember the game it happened in though.  Maybe someone still remembers it?

It was Booger just like when Can did it to him and was ejected. Booger has always been a bitch to us.

The Moore play wasn’t a penalty according to the rule book. The Jeudy play was. Refs are incredibly fallible is all it boils down to. Subconscious (or arguably conscious at times) biases factor into that, simple mistakes, all strong reasons why refs should be as removed from the game as possible. “The human element” of officiating a game spoils the product.

Thanks for reminding me.

fug you Ed "You're not old enough to get that call" Hochuli. Next time try to at least pretend your biases are subconscious.

Oh, and I hope Jerome Boger dies screaming.

They will never take away on field refs and remove the human element. The Sheild has to be able to influence the narrative and push for their desired outcomes. Not to mention the refs know who is favored and who is the underdog.

We got jammed twice this season by zebras that directly influenced the outcome our games (at ATL, browns week 1) and has potentially cost us a division crown and post season birth.

Because no one has invented laser measuring devices yet.

Certainly not just like the ones used daily in construction and other fields.

It's all part of the show.

You are kidding about the laser measuring devices, correct?

And yes, it is part of the show.  The chain measurement creates drama.

Still remember years ago when Steve Smith got ejected on a light touch of an official.

The Panthers getting jobbed by refs is not a new thing unfortunately.

They were helping the Cowboys as usual back then, and back then the Cowboys got lots of help.

I still remember this game like it was yesterday. Not only this bs call, but near the end a bogus roughing the kicker penalty on Peppers ensured a Cowboys dub.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
