Even with our offensive game plan entirely built around decreasing Sam Darnold's ability to lose games for us, that multiple turnover game is coming. We all know it.

I agree, we aren't very good.  But you don't have to be any good to go to the playoffs.

You just have to stink less than everyone else in your division.

If we win either the Steelers or Lions game which isn't too far of a stretch, then it comes down to the Bucs game, who we already trounced at home.

Imagine, Jan 1st, beating the Bucs in Tampa, winning the division, going to the playoffs and ending Tom Brady's career, in one game.   It would be the best holiday present ever.  God bless us, everyone.

I don’t recall us ever having this easy of a schedule in a long time.

I know right?  All the preseason talk about how much harder this year's schedule was going to be.  In the end, if it was harder, it wasn't by much.

That team that "had absolutely no business being there" won their first round matchup and lost to the NFC's representative in the Super Bowl that year. Not sure how that equates to having "absolutely no business being there."

Going to the playoffs as a losing team simply because you're in one of the worst divisions in NFL history isn't "winning".

Love the give up attitude before they even make the dance.

Somewhere,  people have lost the reason to watch. I admit, the first quarter of the season wasn't worth watching.  Yet here is the same group, minus cmc, Anderson, baker, rhule, and many other coaches.  Now this group of mean that couldn't find a way to win, have bonded together, and are playing some dominating, smash mouth football.  The joy is in the journey, and if have no desire to see them win they way they are, then I don't know how you can call yourself a fan. This is why we watch.  Fighting for the division, and winning.  Once they're in the playoffs, their formula is going to make it difficult for any team to just walk off with an easy win.  

Watch, don't want. Stop calling this group of men losers, because they aren't.

      Well if we are being realistic doesn't what you just lined out already tell us where we are at? If the rookie UDFA kicker was the savior more often than not and we had a bottom 5 offense despite us having a #1 pick behind center who was billed predraft as a mini Payton Manning is that just going to magically change trajectory overnight with a tougher schedule added in? If we are going to repeat as division champions then it will be with the defense doing the heavy lifting. So keep adding to it.

      Everyone keeps arguing all these teams have great TE's that made them successful. THATS BS! What makes those teams great is QB play and we don't have that. So again even getting a NON-INLINE TE who can run a fast 40 time isnt going to get us anywhere without competent QB play consistently. Which we don't have by a long shot. So honestly all these great teams have a TE argument doesnt hold water to me.  Mahomes would be nasty without Kelce, Lamar would blow you away without Andrews, does it help? of course any weapon will help but only if you have someone making those correct reads week to week. When we have that then I'd be all in on a game breaking TE but unfortunately we are stuck with one of the most inconsistent starting QB's currently in the NFL.  Not to mention all the TE's mentioned are COMPLETE TE's not just a receiving threat with drop issues which Sadiq does. Argue all you want but nothing will change that fact other than getting a consistent QB week to week in a Panthers uniform which doesnt seem to be happing anytime soon.
