People are appreciating that our QB isn't killing us, but there's a handful of posters that simply won't let that be.

Not taking a TE in the 1st round ever.. The positional value doesn’t fit.. If you’re not taking a QB, OT, pass rusher, or CB early in the 1st then trade down..

This from the guy who still contended the trade was a great move even at the end of last season. You're either clinically insane or you like Darnold for other reasons.

I get it. I’ve seen many 1st rd TEs fail to meet expectations, but if you think there’s a Gronk or Kelce caliber talent, you would and should make that pick every time. 

Our biggest holes on offense are QB and TE, and if we’re picking where I think we will, the 1st round worthy QBs will be gone. I don’t mind drafting a project QB later in the draft, but I’d rather secure our other biggest need.

I’ve read Mayer is as close to Gronk potential at TE seen in a while. I’ve only watched two games of his and I believe it.

After the first 2 pages, this thread just becomes unbearable to read by anybody that is unbiased. 

Sam did play a good game today. Great?  Why the fug what he need to with our oline playing the way they are?  Is the running game helping? Well, no poo Sherlock.   The run game makes every QB's job easier. So stop throwing that out there as a qualifier.  

Sam still stepped up and made big plays today when his number was called.

Nobody is anointing him, so the anti Sam people can back off that poo too. 

Just acknowledge he is leading this team to victory.  That's what the QB get paid to do.  

Obviously,  the story of Sam, is not over yet, much to the dismay of his critics. 

While he hasn't been lighting up the league,  he's winning, and not turning the ball over.  damn, sounds like a QB to me. 

Next season is still next season. 

Is good to see Sam and the team doing well. I'll never understand the people who hate that poo.

      Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.

      Totally possible imo, I also caught that snippet from Morgan where he said “If” we sign him. The lack of competition says otherwise tho 🤷‍♂️
