I was told by the Huddle Tepper would not get outbid.  Looks like he tapped out before the real bidding even began, lol!

Walton's net worth is over $59 billion, Tepper->has an estimated net worth of $16.7 billion

Tepper would get outbid

And I'm fine with that...

I am too, but "he's a billionaire" straw man was brought up time and time again.  Denver has TWO billionaire families in their ownership group.  Dave wanted no part of that bidding war.

I didn't hate the idea of Harbaugh here, but I didn't love it either.  I think the dude has a few screws loose, but he knows how to coach a football team. Ultimately he would have been a short-term solution, IMO.  I couldn't see him here more than a few year regardless of performance.

This is just silly. Their net worth isn't going to affect one out bidding the other as no matter how stupid the contract, 20 million a year or hell 50 million a year, doesn't really amount to poo irt either owners net worth. The only bidding war that exists is in reality just about how dumb the owners want to be, not whether it will hurt their pockets.

That said, thank god we're not getting Harbaugh. I know lots of people have raging boners for that tool but I'm not one of them.

The Vikings passed on him last year and seem to be doing well. I do wonder what he's asking for in the interviews that's scaring away teams.

The Vikings aren't what they appear (or perhaps they are). I almost guarantee that if Harbaugh was coaching them, they would be serious contenders as opposed to pretenders. Watch how it all plays out with them.

    • good one dude. I guarantee I went to more games than you last year and I live on the opposite side of the country. let me give you some FAQ's to save you some time from asking another dumb question while trying to passively fit your narrative: do I think Bryce is a great NFL QB? No. do I think Bryce is worth a contract extension? Not yet. do I think the Panthers are in a great position to evaluate him and then decide? Yes. did Bryce and the Panthers do enough last year and finish on a high note that has me feeling positive and excited for the next season? Yes. is wasting a single second whining and complaining about a player that I dislike on a fan forum for a football team that is watched for entertainment purposes only an efficient way to spend my time? Definitely not. are the same 5-10 posters that spend hours on here daily racking up thousands of posts focusing on something they cannot control ruining this forum? 100%. will they continue to do so? 100% and probably will do so for the next QB as well because they are miz in life and complaining about things that don't involve them make them feel better about their lives which is a psychological fact.
    • Overall it was a fun pleasant surprise of a game. That final drive by the Panthers was atrocious though. It would have been nice to at least go down landing a few blows not just punching air. We shrunk in the moment. I don't want to say it took away from the rest of the game but it was certainly unfortunate.
