Regarding roster needs...

Agree with 4MR's suggestion or not? 🤔

Makes too much sense.  I've seen several posters on here mention that with Chinn as well.  Shaq, Chinn, and Luvu are a solid group of LBs plus a ball hawk safety will let Horn and CJ play more press man which is where they should excel.

SMH, do we ever learn? We have no depth at all. Corbett and BC hurt with decent injuries. Our division sucked but that doesn’t happen every year and for the most part we were healthy. If we go for it and have a few key injuries, we will have wasted resources yet again and be stuck in the 5-7 win range we’ve been in for 5 years now.

we are 2 drafts away from having a solid roster, not sure what everyone else is looking at.  We have some shiny pieces but no depth anywhere.

Every previous time a division has been won by a sub-.500 team (and Tampa finished 8-9), the following season the division winner had at least 10 wins. It's a tiny sample size, but thus far, it's been consistent.

Depth is a hard thing to have in the NFL given the 53 man roster. Our OL held together better than any other in the league or close to it for the majority of the season. We need some pieces for sure, but some of those may actually be here. Rhule was so bad at evaluating talent, it's hard to know exactly what we have until we get into this offseason.

For sure but we don’t even have one unit that would be considered deep

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
