He said franchise QB.  I don't see one in this class.  We might get a serviceable one for a couple of years but someone who'll lead us for the next 10 or 15 years.  Highly doubt it. 

I didn't say we weren't drafting a QB though, I think it is highly possible.   Just depends on how the cards fall on draft night.

He'll be great at that. Former QB, former QB coach, former HC.

The positive with Reich:

  • Super Bowl winning coach (OC), and recently, managing to beat a more prime TB12/BB with his backup QB.   
  • Also faired well in Indy until whatever the hell happened this past year. 

He's probably the best of the experienced candidate pool out there & with a proven track record.  I like him more than pretty much everyone sans Steichen, Ryans (not happening), & Johnson (who is now dead to me).  Don't get why he's somehow a Steve Wilks of the offense.  He's a legit candidate.   

Wilks doesn't even compare.  He has 2 years of NFL coordinator experience in his career, 1.5 of being a HC/IHC, and his only playoff experience at anything higher than a DB coach/AHC was giving up 31 to the Saints in the wildcard.  He's really not proven as a coordinator which is why I don't get why so many nonchalantly throw the idea he can be our DC out there, much less an HC again.

After the Dallas game I don’t understand why he is still a contender? Also the Dallas fans begging us to take him isn’t usually a good sign.

I’m not saying he’s my top choice but the Moore hysteria has gone a bit far. His like first year he was being billed as the next wonder kid and obviously he maybe hasn’t reached that. But four four years he’s had a top 6 offense. And sure it’s a talented roster but I don’t think it would be as egregious as some do. Also being an HC is entirely different from an OC.

You don’t see one in this draft? They have been predicting 3-4 could be gone before we pick at 9. It’s almost certain 2 will be gone.

      When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.

      Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.

      Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
