Don’t know how legit, but seems like Fangio to Carolina could be happening.

We have the players and could be ready to make a move--teams that are in the playoffs are not really in the market for coordinators--I would come here if I was a DC....

Yeah most immediate hurdle is Miami, who I think will get in a bidding war with Tepper. If 49ers lose Demeco would be an attractive job for him but that could drag out for a while and people might get impatient

I'd feel just as good about Gus Bradley, honestly.

He has to get fired first right? I'd go with the younger guys in Richard or Manuel. I think both of them actually played and that could help some with the transition. Fangio or younger guys that actually played is my vote, Bradley hasn't done much in a few years and probably won't get the players all that excited

Or let out of his contract, yeah. That's why getting Bradley would depend on who the Colts hire and whether they want him or their own DC.

Bradley's been pretty good as a defensive guy, enough so that he wound up as a head coach once and has been talked about as an option other times. And he's significantly younger than Fangio so less likely to be a short term solution.

Being familiar with Scott Fitterer and Dan Morgan from their time in Seattle probably doesn't hurt.

    • The investment in him has been massive when you look at the support investments along with the assets directly invested in him. Without mentioning that the rest of the team had to adapt to two head coaches in two years.    As Parcels said about walking on water, his feet are wet. But I wonder what the bar is for a 250 million dollar deal. It has been a low bar to this point. It is scary.
    • Well I haven’t  looked but it could be like our WR, lots of rookie deals.    I bet the hate that comes back for dissenting over there would be daunting.    As far as the Ravens OL, I mean when you have to pay your QB like that what can you do?  If I were a QB that wanted to win and stay healthy I’d be willing to ‘get by’ on 35 million a year to keep the OL talent level up.
    • Mike and Alex from the Observer had a pretty good discussion about Bryce in the most recent Processing Blue podcast they did.  I listened to it on the way in this morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s6A012S6vA&t=984s Bryce will give you 5 or so "wow plays" versus 5 or so "WTF plays."  There's just a nuance to any discussion of Bryce.  There's a lot to be made of his physical limitations and his mental errors.  No matter what, Bryce is just so polarizing.   Personally - I still think Bryce is going to have to prove it this year.  Can he prove to us that he's the franchise?  I don't know.  He's going to have to play better and elevate the team.  We haven't seen that yet.  Let's let him develop.  It will lead us to a top 10 pick or a more competitive team.
