REPORT: CJ Stroud is reportedly the “apple” of the Carolina Panthers’ eye at the moment.

He’s the one worth moving up for. If we can’t secure him, I’m all about thinking about 2024 and positioning ourselves for one of the top QBs there. But we absolutely should be looking to target the guys we want with our new coach and not just drafting whoever is there.

To me he has the most Mahomes vibe of the qbs I've seen in awhile. I mean that by how he surveys  the field and pocket maneuverability.  Always seems calm and collected. Not calling him Mahomes but similarities  do exist.

He probably goes top 2 which means we probably don’t get him.  Don’t see Chicago dropping to 9.

They can probably just go down to 4 and still get one of the defenders they need.

I think a move up to 5 for Levis seems more likely

Like they would leak something like that if it were true. The chess match started earlier than I expected.  You can cross Stroud off the list.

I was thinking the same thing. Besides, Reich should be the one making this decision, or at least have a ton of influence.
