I want Minshew--and his salary would be nothing.

Call me crazy but I’m taking Heinicke over Darnold or Minshew 

If we’re talking a backup to Stroud or Young, think he’d make a lot of sense in Reich’s offense.

We can rally and win with him if he needs to come in.

Minshew may be fun and all with the stash but he only flashed a few times and it was in that stretch for JAX where they still mostly lost. His whole fun uncle Rico type vibe is what people coat over his actual performance.

I’m also quite past Darnold at this point. Wouldn’t be mad if he’s back but it’s not the only option.

Our QB coach already has a relationship established with Sammy and Sammy is already here. Just roll with him.

Brisett is likely I’d say, even as a backup.  Minshew was terrible with the eagles this year

This makes sense and would be fine with me.

Get Minshew and then I'd be ok with drafting AR15 or even not drafting a QB.  Let Matt Carrol, Gardner, and another heady vet fill out the QB room.  Minshew had some Jake Delhomme to his game.  I think given protection and a focus on the intermediate passing game he's thrive in the right system.
